Terms and Conditions - Spares Website

1. 1. These Conditions of Business shall apply to all purchases made through the Company's spares website. No terms put forward by the customer shall be incorporated into the Contract unless separately agreed in writing and signed by a director of the company.
2. 2. Pricing
   1. All prices shown on the website are the Company's current prices including VAT at the applicable rate.
   2. The Company reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice. Clerical errors or omissions are subject to correction.
   3. The price you pay is the price displayed on the website at the time you place your order.
3. 3. Payments
   1. Payment must be made by credit or debit card at the time of ordering.
   2. All card payments are processed through secure payment systems.
   3. Orders will not be processed until payment is confirmed.
4. 4. Delivery
   1. Shortages must be reported within 5 days of delivery.
   2. Deliveries are by courier usually within 5-6 working days of order (subject to stock availability).
   3. Delivery charges will be clearly displayed before order confirmation.
   4. All delivery times are estimates only.
   5. The Company will not be liable for any failure to meet estimated delivery times.
   6. Failed deliveries due to customer absence will incur a re-delivery charge.
   7. Customers must inspect goods upon delivery and sign for them accordingly.
   8. Damage claims must be made within 5 days of delivery.
5. 5. Claims
   1. All claims must be in writing.
   2. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods.
   3. The Company will not accept liability for delays beyond its control.
   4. Damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of delivery.
   5. Guarantee covers replacement of faulty goods only, with no liability for consequential losses.
6. 6. Returns Policy
   1. Incorrectly ordered items may be returned subject to a restocking charge.
   2. Returns must be authorized in advance and accompanied by correct documentation.
   3. Items must be unused and in original packaging.
   4. Custom-ordered or modified parts cannot be returned unless faulty.
7. 7. Errors and Omissions
   1. We reserve the right to correct any administrative errors on the website.
   2. Orders are subject to confirmation email - please check details carefully.
   3. The Company reserves the right to decline orders containing pricing errors.

   1. The website is for retail customers purchasing genuine Charlton & Jenrick spare parts.
   2. Parts must be used in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
   3. Technical information is provided for guidance only.
   4. The Company reserves the right to modify the website content without notice.
9. 9. Data Protection
   1. Personal data is processed in accordance with current data protection legislation (GDPR).
   2. Data collected includes: name, delivery address, contact details, and order history.
   3. Data is used for: order processing, delivery, warranty claims, and technical support.
   4. Customer data is retained for 7 years after the last transaction.
   5. Customers have rights to access, rectify, and erase their personal data.

    1. Specifications and illustrations on the website are approximate.
    2. Published technical data is for guidance only.
    3. The Company reserves the right to make minor changes to specifications.
    4. Model numbers and serial numbers must be verified before ordering.
11. 11. Consumer Rights and Safety-Critical Parts
    1. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
    2. For orders placed online or by phone, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply where applicable.
    3. The right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to safety-critical parts, which include:
       • All gas-carrying components
       • Gas valves
       • Gas manifolds
       • Burner assemblies
       • Any parts that form part of the gas-carrying system
    4. Safety-critical parts require proof of professional Gas Safe registered engineer installation.
    5. Returns of gas-related components are not accepted once unsealed, for safety reasons.
